Ronstan Snap Shackle, Fixed Eye, 32mm (RF6080)

A new Sunfish comes with a snap shackle on the end of the mainsheet, clipped to the bridle, so the sheet comes off in a second at the ramp. Used boats have usually lost it and the sheet is tied on. This is the replacement: a stainless snap shackle with a fixed eye, 32mm long.

Tie it to the mainsheet with a bowline, as in the SERO rigging guide, and clip it to the bridle.

Ronstan part RF6080. In the Club Racer and Podium kits.
